Retail Sales Associate - Part-time Positions Available

Position: Sales of hunting-related products - Provide great customer service by greeting, consulting, educating, and assisting customers with locating merchandise for their purchase.

Shift(s): Summer Hours, Monday- Saturday, 9-5 (5-day work week); Winter Hours, Monday- Saturday 9-5, Sunday 11-4 (6-day work week)

Hourly Wage: Ranges $12.00- $14.00 + If Experienced

Benefits: Full-time - Vacation Pay, Pension, and Bonuses/Employee Discounts. Part-time: Employee Discounts and Potential Bonus

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Engage customers with a pleasant and helpful attitude each interaction
  • Assist customers with product selection
  • Complete 4473 forms accurately and efficiently for gun sales.
  • Answer phones.
  • Run cash register.
  • Learn about the products we sell and their key features.
  • Assist in processing and replenishing merchandise and monitoring floor stock.
  • Perform other tasks as necessary and assigned by management, which may at times include assisting in other departments.
  • Work as team member with co-workers
  • Assist in maintaining overall department by cleaning, straightening, and recording inventory.
  • All other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Good verbal and written communication
  • Basic knowledge of computers
  • Basic Knowledge of Sporting Goods Helpful
  • Be Detail oriented
  • Sales Experience helpful- Will Train
  • The ability to work closely with customers and co-workers
  • Multi- tasking abilities

EDUCATION AND TRAINING

  • A high school diploma or high school equivalency diploma are recommended

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must provide references
  • Must pass Criminal Background Check
  • Must possess a valid Driver's License
  • Must pass random drug screening
